Folklore in Rydzewo

Every year on the first weekend of May village Rydzewo changes into Folk Center. This feast of folk bands and Jarmark (Fair) of entertainments and market of hand-made things and antiques "Rydzewska Majowka" is organized by Tourist Complex "At the Black Swan". Folk bands represent nearby regions - Kurpi, Mazury and Suwalszczyzna. The bands perform on a stylized scene on barge, moored to the land near the Inn. The feast lasts for two days under the tunes of folk music.
